
The Mechwarrior-sequel seems out to be alive after all. In the last days several web sites, with VE3D in the point, sugest to disclose about a new game (it acts quite clearly about a Mechwarrior 5) is on develpment. There is realy no longer a doubt - three teaser-movies clears all possible doubt and IGN boasts with an exclusive developer interview on Thursday.
So far it's tight with concrete details about the game. Current information says that the development is done by Piranha Games' and the game is given out to EA. And of course that you can once again sit behind the levers on armed a mech. BIG mechs.
To begin with the name will shortly be called Mechwarrior - in other words there will be no number five after the maintitle. - and teh developers explains that this will be a new start for the sequel. The older games was limited by the technology we had in the past, but with todays technology computer power in our hands they hope to create the feeling to actually drive a huge war machine. A singelplayer campagin and a co-op mode for four players is avaviable and ofcourse a multiplayer. How many different mech types it contain is still unclear
